Greetings..New Member w/?s already.. 24v PipTide batteries.

I haven't used my 24v Riptide motor for 1.5yrs. I want to buy a new pair of batteries but would like to test it first along with my wireless wrist controller. Do I need a matched pair or can I test with one battery at 12.4v and the other at 12.1v just to see if it runs ? Thanks

Thanks. That sounds like good advice as soon as I know the motor still works.. I want to buy one new battery first and pair it with my good starting battery to just try the motor for maybe less than a minute then buy the second battery if it's OK.
