What would cause the motor to stall after a deceleration from full throttle to idle speed?
This motor had not run in 5 years, I rebuilt the carb on it, installed new fuel pump and gas lines (to eliminate some of the trouble shooting).
Motor runs great, starts right up, idles great and sounds brand new, but when I ran it on the dinghy, it shut off twice on me after a full throttle run, it did start back up both time but wondering what caused it to stall....
Thought I'd pick the brains of the experienced and knowledgeable here..... Thanks.
