want to convert to duel prop

you don't mine i have a quick question


i have a 290 sp with power trim that is not on a boat
my grandfather gave me he's old boat and i am useing some of the parts for my boat
i have a 1987 25" bayliner cerria with a GM 260 V 8 vp 275 sp outdrive and have a another complete vp 275 outdrive that's
a back up not on a boat
what i am trying to do is make the 275 a duelprop
or use the 290 and make that a duel but i will need to do a lot of
work takeing the 275 off and putting the 290 on because
i know the transom plates will not match right up.
then i will have to change the lower end to the duel


does anyone have a opinion of what would make more sense to
do sale the 290 and the2 / 275s and just buy a complete duelprop unit. or buy a lower duel prop unit and mount it to one of the drives


any suggestions will be very very helpful
i can send pictures for anyone

Any AQ series drive is a candidate for a Duo Prop lower unit!
Critical shimming calculations must be performed!!!!!

The 275 is not power trim, whereas the 290 is power trim!
Either of these can be converted to a Duo Prop.

Because we cannot prop ourselves out of an incorrect ratio, make dang sure that the Duo Prop ratio is correct for YOUR engine!

service repair in my area
i live in new orleans
i want to put a duel prop on one of my drives
there is only a dealer 30 miles away that does not do this type of work
