What Year is mine

I have a Force (by Mercury Marine) 40hp, Serial Number 0E015661 by best I can tell. Trying to find Year so I can Maintain and operate it.
 
Whalerman, i punched in OE,zero15661 and found parts diagram for that serial#,but no year listed,The site gave me OE015661>HO40412NF on Chrysler site, The first search was on the Force site under Engine Diagrams, top of page

Yours is probably a 92-94 model.
A pic of the lower unit and the electronics will help narrow it down.
The bad thing is you can't post pics on this site until you have 5 posts.
But you can add pics using a photo sharing site.

The 40 and 50 used a LOT of the same parts.
So did the 80's through 94 use the same stuff, depending on what you need.

Any specific parts you need??

Thanks a ton jerryjerry05! I have no issues with it, runs fine! I inherited from my dad and it's on my 1968 13' Whaler. I'm just the kind of guy that wants to have books and knowledge of what I'm dealing with. Much appreciated!

I've found that e-bay is a good place to start looking for parts.
Usually cheaper.
Then boatsdotnet.
