Ok this weekend I took boat back after changing trigger coil but in the process had a lot of research going by books and forums motor is a 1985 inline 6
first got a lot of advise on checking my link and sink procedure,spark plugs,stator carbs,motor symptoms were weak hole shot cold start problems motor idled fine once started and run for just a minute or so looked at specs on coils,trigger and stator showed values of each component but no one mentioned there should be no more than 4% differential, my readings were 1360/1360/1300 so I decide to order new trigger problem solved motor runs Awesome
