My father gave me a Mariner 140 hp straight 6. it has coil packs, not a distributor. the serial # comes up as a merc 90 or 115 but stickers say 140. i know alot of parts are interchangeable but i was wondering if someone knows a different way of identifying it. The motor runs great! I've changed out both switch boxes, rectifier, rebuilt all three carbs. I'm just looking for more information on the motor. Any information would be greatly appreciated!! I can post pictures if needed. thanks in advance. Stephen
