'86 Mercury 75hp on a 16' Starcraft.
Doing water pump service the other day I noticed that the trim tab was missing. Talking about the zinc or aluminum fin that mounts above the prop, adjustable to counter the natural pull to the right. I have no idea how long it's been missing.
Should replacing it be a priority? The pull to the right is noticeable, but not a huge deal. As for its anode function, I run in a freshwater lake and don't wet-slip the boat.
