Hi I have a rotted out original cast intake and have replaced it with an edlebrock 2176 alloy, 318 runs total raw water cooled not sea water, no heat exchanger there fore no engine circulating pump but does have Sherwood dual impellor pump, there is a difference in the original cast intake in that the water pass is blocked and the new edlebrock one is straight through, the water flows out of the original intake manifold after starboard block and head pass then in port block visa crossover device on front of engine. I have read on the correct craft forum that a mod is required to make the new edlebrock function correctly, help does anyone know what to do ? I am in England but have access to engineers and parts from the States
