Does the Mercury switch stop ignition function if motor overheats? Looking through the manual and can't find any info any help would be appreciated
 
No it does not.-----The mercury switch cuts off ignition of motor is tilted too high.--------Water pump impeller needs to be replaced about every 5 years.----Was that done ??
