How does raw water get into motor

I have a 196 wellcraft 305 chevy with a omc 800 , the boat has a seacock thru hull to a valve and nothing else I dont see where it could connect assuming previous owner removed something

The stringer 800 has the water impeller in the outdrive up under the lower gearbox. You need to get a manual and drop the gearbox.

So the seacock is just closed and is there for a different combo ,thank you for the help.

I cant say for sure possibly the in hull pickup is for a fish well. I suppose it is possible it has a raw water pump on the crank without any good pics we can just speculate how it is setup.
