1993 evenrude 30 hp

Hi, say I have a 1993 evenrude 30 hp, it will start easy
and run maybe 10 seconds then shut off, does anyone have
any help here. Thanks

What happens if you pump the primer bulb ??

I assume you are talking about the engine on a stand on land. I had the same thing happening with a 1997 25hp Johnson and I had to keep using the primer bulb on the tank to keep it running. Found out the tank has to be no more than 2' below the fuel pump. Raised the tank on a box and it works fine.
