I have a mercury year 1997, which is 20 hp . Last summer so did it stop !
Removed the carburetor and changed the float , the old was it gasoline in.
Now it doesent start ! How should the idle wire be installed ? It is an iron stick that goes
from the top of the shock mechanism. Should it go to the acceleratnmechanism
where Idle Speed Screw is ? Is that why it doesent start ?
