New boat owner from N.D. I just purchased this pontoon locally and after I had it in the water I pulled the cover and found the cap to this electrical plug off and hanging in the engine compartment. The motor seemed to run fine and it didn't seem to make any difference after I plugged the cap back in. Can someone tell me what this is? I'm wondering if it is the high temperature alarm for the motor. Thanks for any help.
