Have a 2007 DF 140 Suzuki was running fine just had new wiring harness and tune up on motor .was running under load died and would not start back up had to be toed in. Was able start motor a few days later but only ran for 20 minutes and died and would not start again. Was wondering if this is an issue I read on the Suzuki motor dies on hot days thread.

Is engine running hot? Is telltale stream working, can you keep your hand in stream indefinitely? Electronics under flywheel could be affected by excessive heat. ie.stator assembly, coils

Are you getting any alarms? Overheat or overrev? Sounds to me that it may be more of a fuel delivery issue. Check fuel for water. Check / replace in-line fiel filter and water separating fuel filter, if you have one, and you should if not. Also, check battery conections and do a load test on the battery itself. These things need all the juice they can get to operate properly.
