Propeller info

My md50a is equipped with a 3 blade propeller called 13.5. It's the only text I can find. At full throttle it reaches approx 5200 rpm so I think I might find a propeller with less pitch. Looking at the internet hasn't helped me find out what is the actual pitch and diameter on my current propeller.

Anyone who can help?
 
You don't get a vote on diameter. In any event, minor diameter changes will do little if anything. Pitch will do a lot, and you can see which props are available on the Tohatsu America website at http://tohatsu.com/accessories/prop.asp

Tohatsu sells props from 7 to 17 pitch for that motor, both 3 and 4-blade, aluminum as well as stainless, with 13 being about medium pitch.

You can probably go with 1 or 2 inches less pitch and get better performance.
 
Sorry. I thought tape measure was some kind of method and not the physical tool. Sometimes the translation to Danish goes wrong...

Diameter is rather simple. It's more about verifying the pitch, but if pvanv is sure about it then fine. If not I found some guides to measure the pitch so I will find out.
