crossed my battery posts! Stuck in Gardian mode 2012 90hp 4 stroke Merc

I had a bit of a brain melt down, and connected my battery backwards. I got a quick spark, and immediately felt stupid. once corrected, the boat wouldn't start. I found that I blew the 15 amp fuse. Once changed, power returned to everything, but I only have about 75-80% power. I searched everywhere, and found no more blown fuses. surely I am not the only bonehead that has done this.... where else should I look? can only reach 4700rpms, but everything seems to work.

For the sake of being a total moron, I would guess your stator would have been compromised. Happened to me when I let my brother use my boat and he messed it up crossing poles. That has been 45 tears ago and my 100 hp merc was a tad different that what they are like now.
