ETEC 130 Temp

I have install the NMEA 2000 network with the Lowrance HDS chartplotter.

The Evinrude interface allows to view engine functions. This is a 2009, 130 HP.

What is the expected temp readings I should see at idle and WOT? Seawater temps are in the 90F range.

I don't know about the 130hp (retired in 1991) but the majority of the other engines incorporate a thermostat that opens right around 143 degrees. I'd suspect the temperatures you show are somewhat low.
 
Mike the temps are a little low on idle and a speck to high for my liking at WOT I don't like to see 180, 170 to 175 is good, have you perform the 300 hrs service? you'll b e better off posting at E-Tec owners group a lot of good information there http://www.etecownersgroup.com/
 
Found the problem,
The plastic cap for the thermostat broke. The cap completely separated from the threaded section. Water was exiting the power head from the thermostat opening.
