tamd 63 heat exchanger

I've seen some Volvos appear to have a removable insert (heat exchanger) which makes it easy to service.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case on a TAMD 63?

Does anyone know if the tamd 63 has a restrictor inside the exit water hose from the turbo? I've heard that this restrictor is sometimes responsible for the engine overheating. My TAMD 63 is running at 195 degrees. Anyone know the normal operating temp ?

I need to tell the yard the overheating remedy I want them to take. I want to be sure I provide them with a remedy that has the best chance for success.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Where are you reading the 195 degrees from. the gauge? Have you taken a ir/temp gun to the thermostat housing to see what the temp is there? My owner's manual on my TAMD41s states the thermostats open/fully open are 177 to 201 degrees. I normally see at low rpm 175 to 180 at high rpm 185. Hope this helps.
