Zincs for 1955 Evinrude Model 15014

Does this outboard require zincs? I bought this in good condition but it is now showing corrosion. I don't see any evidence of a zinc.

If you are encountering electrolysis on that engine (it was not manufactured with zincs), be aware that zincs are manufactured that have screws going through them whereas you can drill and thread holes on the transom brackets to attach them or attach them to the cavitation plate. Check with your marine stores or dealerships.
 
Yes...... But the bottom portion of most transom brackets are in the water. If yours are not, install the zincs elsewhere.
