hi every one yes i am a newby here. i have a mercedes om355 i have a problem with over heating, she runs fine at low rev's 1300, for days sometimes then will just climb in temp and over heats. sometimes she runs for a few hours and overheats or if i increase the revs say to 1500-1800
it happens at different intervals never the same ie after 5 hrs every time. there is no water in the oil, i drop the revs to idle bleed the air out the temp comes straight down and away she goes again until the next time, just wondering if i'm sucking in air from somewhere its a keel cooled system and driving me nuts. hopefully someone can point me in the right direction thanks for reading sorry have new thermostats, new water pump
