1993 mercury 25 horse ,solenoid

Is it a tiller or remote. If it is a tiller, the large battery cable goes to one of the large lugs on the solenoid. To that same lug gets the red wire from the rectifier. The other large lug gets connected to the starter itself. The small lugs get the yellow with red stripes one comes from the neutral safety switch the other comes from the start switch. Double check this as I am writing this from memory.
 
thanks for that info ,it is tiller controlled.all leads are connected correctly. if not the solenoid , would the problem be the starter ??
