Hi, I am trying to rebuild the water pump on my 2QM15. This is probably a general question/issue that applies to any time one tries to put bearings on, but should I have such a hard time getting them on the pump shaft? Should I take them to a machine shop to have them pressed on?
Also, I'm not sure which rings are which in the rebuild kit. I can post photos/screenshots of the service manual if someone knows which are which: one goes between the bearings, one goes against the oil seal, and and one is a washer for the pulley.
Also, not sure how one gets the oil seal into the housings; there is a flange inside that keeps the bearings in place, but it's smaller than the oil seal. The one that's in there already seems fine.
