the rpm gauge did not work, i replaced it with original model
it still does not work. does anybody know where the sending unit for the rpm is on the motor ?
 
That depends on the year??
You sure the tach is the right one?
The older models used a 20pole tach and the newer used a 12pole.
Need to know if it's a Prestolite or Mercury system.
