2004 150HP EFI High Idle

Over the weekend after a fishing trip, while at the landing waiting in the water to pick up I noticed that my engine was idling high at around 1200-1500 RPM. Checked my hot foot to make sure it wasn't stuck which wasn't. The next day at home I cranked up to check and same thing, idling high. There were no issues while on plane and and the engine ran fine. There were also no issues at home cranking the engine, starts just fine. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can begin to look for what could be the issue?
 
Looks like the tachometer at my console is not reading correctly. Used a handheld tach on the flywheel and that is reading at 650-700 RPM.
