Yes, there is a hex nut on the bottom of the housing, once you unscrew that the insert should come out after of course you unbolt the top bolts and take off the cover. I sprayed coil cleaner in mine and rinsed it, and the small holes on the top of the insert i used a 22 gun cleaning brush with the extensions and the coil cleaner.
