1999 50 hp evinrude module problem

If you're speaking of having battery voltage applied to the powerpack (power from the ignition switch to the module), you've just destroyed the engine's powerpack. The ignition is self contained and will not tolerate any outside voltage source!

Your question pertaining to a relay (I assume a starter solenoid) leads me to believe that your problem is that you cannot get the battery/starter to crank the engine over?? If not, what is the problem?
