I have a 97 evinrude 115. E115eleua. Just wondering but I keep smelling gas from my motor. It's got a remanufactured Powerhead that I had put on a few months ago. It has about 20 hours, maybe a little more. But it's had multiple gas leaks, from bleeder hoses, to missing airbox hose connection, etc. I don't see but a drop of gas or two in the lower engine cowling now, from the leftover gas in the carbs, but I've noticed after its on the trailer and ready for the road there's this strong smell of gas and normal 2 stroke fumes coming from the exhaust on the lower cowling. Is this normal? I love the smell of a 2 stroke for some reason but not this gassy 2 stroke smell. Hasn't been run in a couple weeks and I still smell leftover gas in the cowling.. Any ideas would help!! I'm always having some type of problem
