50:1 is the mix 40:1 for heavy use and if you want the motor to last a few extra years.

I have recently become owner of 3 older Johnson motors

    Johnson 5 HP Model TD20
    Serial #580330
    1946-1949

    Johnson 3 HP JW18R
    Serial #B111037
    1963

    Johnson 5.5 HP CD13
    Serial #1371171
    1956

Not being too familiar with them, can someone tell me the spark plug and gap, and also fuel mixture for each of them? I sure would appreciate simple answers without abbreviations which I might not understand.

Thank you so much for your time.
