93 Johnson 200 with Bad VRO fuel pump Question: going back to the old 2 pump system or electric

My VRO is completely gone and leaking everywhere... took it apart and all internals are good but the housing leaks like a sive.

Already was converted to a fuel pump only.

Here is my question... I can get a deal on two 83 200 fuel pumps < $100.00... anything wrong with just using those in place of another VRO or

the more expensive option at 299.00 @ mastertech.

And I also know most opinions of converting to electric pump but shine in

The smaller dual fuel pumps as were used on the older pre 1984 V6 models.

However, an electric fuel pump might be more appropriate due to the volume of fuel you would use. Yes, I know those opinions also but a lot of boaters use them.

Use the mastertech pump, you want volume on a looper motor,you have 6 individual bowls vs 3 bowls on a crossflow
