1976 10 HP Chrysler starter question

I have a 1976 10 HP Chrysler outboard engine, is it possible to install an electric starter on this engine or am I stuck with the recoil?

that motor and year had an electric start model but all the parts are obsolete...to attempt to try to convert yours would not be easy for that reason among others in my opinion...in fact most of the parts for that engine are going to be hard to find...I gave one away because I knew about the parts availability..it finally broke for the guy I gave it too but he ran into the problem and junked it..
 
You "might" find the parts, probably not.
Try to look up marine outboard salvage yards.
Try Valley Sales in Prudenville, Mi.
He had a ton of old parts, maybe he'd have something you could use.

Your best bet, find something with the starter already on it.

If it's not too old??? Mercury sells kits for some of their outboards(pretty expensive).
