Can anyone tell me where to find the oil pressure sensor on my BF200?
I have twin engines and was hoping to swap them over to check the sensor.
When the engine is under load it alarms and goes into limp mode, oil level is fine.

Man thanks
Chippy.

What makes you think it is an oil pressure issue? Is your oil light going out when there is an alarm? Is it flashing?

What are your other lights doing? Especially...the overheat (red) light.

It is not going to be that easy to get to the oil pressure switches. Yes...there are two. One for high oil pressure and one for low oil pressure.

You have to take the muffler plate and several other pieces off of the engine for the low pressure. The manual says that you have to take off one of the cylinder heads to get to it. I have never removed that one, so I can not verify what the book says.

Lastly...I assume you are a long way from a dealer. 2014 motors should still be under warranty. If you are indeed having an oil pressure issue, a trip to the dealer might be in order.

Some other things to check...

Are you using the Honda oil filter? After market filters can cause increased oil pressure.
Are you using the correct oil? 10w30 mineral based oil. Not synthetic oil.
