Help Identifying Engine

The boat is a 1992 Thompson Calae 1800. Here's a picture of the engine cover

On the engine block it reads: GM 74097080
On the right rear of the block there's a tag that reads: Mercury S/N D521480

I cannot for the life of me figure out what engine model this is and that's the only information relevant to finding parts for it. I can't find any other markings on it other than what I posted. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, thanks. That has seemed to point me into the right direction. I know it's not an automotive engine, I'm an auto tech, but I'm totally ignorant when it comes to finding information on boat stuff, this is only the second one I've ever had to deal with.
 
I just needed to know which engine to click on the the parts menu so I could find an accelerator pump and a thermostat. No website I went on was pulling up the engine by the serial number, and that's all I had to go on.
 
I can only view the table of contents in that link to the repair manual. Do you have a different source for a complete manual?
