any tips on starting a gas 11kw genny that has set for 6 months since it last ran?

If the fuel is good and the oil level is ok, ventilate the compartment and give it a crank....

ok all should be fine , I was just wondering if I should try to circulate oil somehow since its sat 6 months. thanks for the reply

You will probably be cranking it long enough to get some oil circulated. Don't crank too long with seacock open as water could get pulled into the engine. you may want to check or replace the spark plug before trying to start.
