Lubricate the lower crank bearing or not?

I have the workshop manual but I can't find any reference to this. I have replaced the lower crankshaft bearing and, seeing as it is outside of the labyrinth seal and therefore won't benefit from the two stroke oil, wondered whether it should be greased. Any veiws?
