Could be: fuel line connector sucking air(replace or cut it out) the fuel line soft or mushy inside collapsing(replace)
the ball bad(replace) the tank has water(new fuel) pick up in the tank clogged(clean tank)
Maybe the carb is dirty,(clean and install a filter between the pump and carb)
Do a compression and spark test and post the results.
