Thread: Engine rpm

  1. #1

    Angry Engine rpm

    introduction
I purchased two motors furnished VOLVO PENTA AD41-P 220 HP
The engines were installed 35-foot boat propulsion VOLVO PENTA with DO PROP (A5 PROPELOR SIZ)
I installed one of the motors with transmission in size 23 foot boat (including engine weight 1500 kg
    Boat Standard
    Engine system repairs
    1 injection pump overhaul
    2 Renovation injectors
    3 turbo overhaul
    4 new diesel filter

    The problem
When I step into reverse engine responds Excellent reaches 4200 rpm
But when I step Front gear motor can not to pass above 1500 rpm
In addition warms up (I checked the cable from SIFT is fully accessible)
To refine the explanation even when I bring up the TRIM
My question is whether someone has encountered a problem or something identical
I thank everyone who can help me find a solution to the problem
I live in Israel and in Volvo's service is very bad no one to talk
Volvo does not even Mechanic 1
    Too bad I chose Volvo
    Sincerely ASI Elijah

Start a new thread in the volvopenta diesel forum. Does the throttle body fully open up in forward gear?
