Can anyone tell me whether this engine has more than 1 thermostat please.
Im getting a very slight show of water in the oil but I'm sure its just condensation showing on the dipstick. A tiny band of white at the top of the dipstick. No water at all came out on the oil change. Not milky or looking like Mayo!
I run the engine in a very large 50 Gallon tub and when I touch the block with a test probe it only shows a temp go approx 50 degrees C. The temp gauge shows that the temp is right in the centre of the gauge but just thought that it should run a bit hotter. The engine is a 2008 model I believe. New impeller fitted, t'stat tested (unless there are more than one) and compressions all at 245psi.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
