Hi All,

I have a PCM 351w with Trunnion motor mounts rc91001 ( ell shape) with 2 qty 3/8inch holes on top plate and the verticle plate has 1 qty 3/8 inch hole in the lower center
I have mounting blocks that has 6 inch oak block wraped in fiberglass that the motor mounts sit on.
what size lag screws do I use-- 3/8x4 inch galvanized on top plate and a 3/8x3 inch lag screw on the verticle lower center hole?
the 2 top holes are 4 inch on center with the 1 verticle bolt hole is 2 1/2 inches down in the lower center
I don't want to split the wood but I also want to make sure that I use 3 lag screws - your thoughts please

thanks,
tmcboat

Drill pilot holes and lubricate screws (saliva works) if the screw holes are in "new" spots (new blocks or holes in different spots in old block)
