Prior owner of the boat for some reason removed and reinstalled the overhead vinyl padding in aft sleeping area. When he did he used 4 screws that were slightly to long and pushed them up thru the fiberglass deck of the cockpit. This has resulted in rusting screw tips and 1/2" spalling around the screws 1/8" deep along with spider cracks that are getting longer and longer. can you give me a solution. Should I cut out the areas with a grinder and try to pour a liquid filler. If so what kind?
