Hi all!
I'm curious if a driveshaft for a mid to late 70s Johnson 4hp with a conventional right angle gearbox (let's say 1975) would have the same splines on the ends (power head and gearbox splines) as one used in a mid 80's(lets say 1985)Johnson 4hp?
I realize they are different part numbers . What I'm interested is if anybody has or has had both and can actually compare??
I also realize the impeller attachment is different, I'm only interested in the end splines where it fits into the gearbox and power head respectively
