I have got a 40 hp Yamaha with jet drive. Slung a rod. Would the best option be to order new parts and repair it or maybe buy a used power head or maybe buy a used engine and swap the jet drive? Is the Yamaha lower unit bolt pattern and fit compatible with any other outboard?
