I have a 357 merc mag bravo L/V in my22' ,90 ultra with bravo outdrive, anyway when its cold like overnight sit, it'll fire right up with a tap of the ignition, after being on the water for a bit I like to shut it down float and chill for like an hour, go to start it up and it acts flooded, very hard to start but eventually get it started. thoughts? appreciate any feedback.

operating procedure....especially if the engine box is 'tight'......

What I suspect is happening is too much heat!!! do you take steps to ensure proper cool down before shutdown?

I had the same problem but on a Merc 4.3 TB4 ignition, turned out it was the timing was set at 1-deg BTDC (should have been 8-deg) Just a thought!
