Would appreciate some advice please
I have a yamaha 4 stroke outboard motor that is running erratically
The issue is that it stalls at various stages of operation, idling, pull off and once on the plane. To resolve the issue temporarily you need to disconnect the fuel hose by the primer bulb. Once disconnected fuel leaks back from the engine side and one can hear air pushing through from the fuel tank side. You need to prime the bulb until fuel squirts out and reconnect to hose again. It will then start up and run again.
I have replaced the primer bulb, fuel hose from tank to engine and also disconected the breather hose from the fuel cap.
Any suggestions please?
