ceramic heaters vs infrared heaters

Hi every one new to the forum and looking for some help. I have used infrared heaters in the past to help gel coat to dry, bit of context the yacht lives in an open shed in the winter the shed is on the west coast of Scotland and temp often drop below 0 so doing grp work can be a challenge at times. My question is am I better buying a new infrared heater wich I finde to be flimsy and bulbs often get broken from stands falling over and other smal acedents or am I better to get a ceramic heater wich has more wate to it and probaby not at easy to damage. On a side note if any one had any experience with ceramic heaters will thay project heat the same as an infrared heater?

Sorry for the long post, and hope to hear from you all soon.

Thanks Chris
