Hello, looking for a little help regarding my carburetor. The motor has been sitting for a few months. when i went to start it up i removed the cowling and checked the oil level. with the cowling off i pumped the tank bulb to pressurize the fuel and noticed gas spraying out from the fuel pump. i purchased the new diaphragm and gasket and rebuilt the fuel pump. when i went to start the motor i now have fuel coming from under the carburetor top cover running into the bottom motor cover. I removed the top cover and checked the gasket. the gasket appeared to be fine. the fuel appears to be running thru a channel under the top cover.
Looking for any suggestions. Is it possible the needle is not seating?
