Mussel Remnants on trim

Scraped off the mussels from my trim. Any ideas on how to get the rest of the remnants off? Its stinking up my garage....
 
I think West Marine or other retailers sell a remover.
It's pretty strong and can remove the little circles.
The other way is a putty knife or scraper or sandpaper..
Even then it's still gonna stink until it dries out, sometime around April or May.

Next year get some barrier coat, put a couple of layers on and paint the parts.

Or (depending on the boat) put a couple of full 5gal pails of water in the front of the boat.
It drops the nose down and brings up the rear.
I used to do that on my other 21 center console.
