i wonder if anyone can't ell me how to bypass the ignition switch on a 1972 150 Mercury. Which colours have to be connected for engine to run. I have bridged two wires red and yellow and this engages the starter but I am assuming that because I have just put a wire across that part of the switch that this also bypasses the run element of the switch. Is this correct? Can anyone tell me the colour of wire I have to connect to run
