i have a 1996 bass tracker with a 40 hp mercury. i need to remove the relief valve on the tilt & trim. it looks like the C clip on the valve will not allow it to come out the hole that the screw driver goes through to turn the valve. how do i get it out ( it is a single ram ) with out halving to remove the whole unit from the motor ( what a pain )
