I badly need a schematic of how the 3 button electrical shift unit wires up. I have the 5 terminal unit on a 1974 Land-N-Sea houseboat. 350 Chevy inboard (225 Hp) I tried using a DC 3 position rocker switch but that didn't work, although not sure if I wired it correctly. Middle tits is power, green is forward and blue is reverse-but exactly how are they hooked up? Help anyone?

Run a jumper wire directly to the blue and green wires going into the gearbox. Have someone listen for a click in the gearbox as you energize each coil. I would make sure the coils are good before spending alot of time on the wiring. Then work your way up to the shift switch. If the coils energize and it still doesnt go into gear you have mechanical issues.
