If you could somehow loosen the Y-pipe fasteners, and if you can move the Y-pipe forward and gain access, and if you can get the new O-rings back into place, the rediculously over-priced rubber hooks can be replaced while the engine is still installed.

"If" being the operative word here!

What are the ramifications of not replacing it at all, Ricardo? The hose flange is still firmly in place, just the tube has deteriorated and split ... :confused:
